Kids Are Already Using AI. The Question Is What For.

Something is happening in schools around the world and teachers see it every day.

Kids are using AI to avoid having to think.

They ask ChatGPT to do their homework. Write their essays. Solve their math problems. And they hand in the result as if it were their own.

It's a direction issue.

The most powerful tool in history in the hands of someone who doesn't know how to use it

AI is real. It's here. It's not going away.

The question isn't whether your kids are going to use it. They already are. The question is whether they're using it to replace thinking or to amplify it.

There's a huge difference between asking AI to do something for you and asking AI to help you learn something better.

A kid who asks ChatGPT "write me an essay about the Mexican Revolution" learned nothing.

A kid who asks "explain the Mexican Revolution like I'm 10, then ask me questions to see if I understood" learned twice as fast as any textbook.

What kids need to learn now

Knowing how to ask the right questions. How to evaluate an answer. How to build something with the information you have. How to create, not just consume.

Memorizing facts has no value anymore — any AI does it in seconds. What has value is critical thinking and creativity.

Those are skills that get developed. And they develop faster with the right guidance.

Children's Day as a starting point

If you have kids, today is a good day to sit down with them and explore what AI can do — together.

Show them how to ask a better question. How to ask it to explain something a different way. How to use it to practice something they want to learn.

The kid who learns to use AI as a learning tool will have a massive advantage over the one who uses it to avoid learning.

At Kiin Hub we believe in builders

From the big ones to the small ones.

This month we hosted the Lego Kids Course: Raising My Little Entrepreneur — because the builder's mindset starts early.

And if you want to explore how to use AI to learn more and better — in your business or with your kids — come by. We'll have a coffee and talk it through.
