What kids need to learn now
Knowing how to ask the right questions. How to evaluate an answer. How to build something with the information you have. How to create, not just consume.
Memorizing facts has no value anymore — any AI does it in seconds. What has value is critical thinking and creativity.
Those are skills that get developed. And they develop faster with the right guidance.
Children's Day as a starting point
If you have kids, today is a good day to sit down with them and explore what AI can do — together.
Show them how to ask a better question. How to ask it to explain something a different way. How to use it to practice something they want to learn.
The kid who learns to use AI as a learning tool will have a massive advantage over the one who uses it to avoid learning.
